Garut Police are still investigating the Molotov bombing that was thrown by an unknown person into the house of a suspect in a thuggery case that made his family feel threatened with his life's safety in Cibalong District, Garut Regency, West Java.

"Of course we will explore this case," said Garut Police Chief AKBP Rio Wahyu Anggoro as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, May 2.

He said his staff had received information about the terrorist act of throwing Molotov cocktails by unknown people against the suspect's house until his house almost caught fire on Friday (28/4) in the morning.

His staff immediately processed the crime scene, and investigated further to find and arrest the perpetrators of the terror.

The police continued, AKBP Rio had collected evidence and asked for statements from a number of witnesses to immediately reveal the Molotov cocktail throwing.

"We have examined three people, of course we will act carefully," he said.

According to the Police Chief, the throwing was the result of the thuggery of the suspect Dadang Buaya who abused two residents in Pameungpeuk District, Tuesday (25/4) in the early hours of the morning, causing the victim to be hospitalized.

Dadang's action as a recidivist in the attack on the Pameungpeuk Koramil Headquarters, he said, had been immediately arrested and legally processed with the threat of a sentence of seven years in prison.

However, the terror carried out by an unknown person against the suspect's house and family, said the Police Chief, cannot be justified, so it will be prosecuted to account for his actions.

"Of course the person's actions cannot be justified, we are gathering other evidence, God willing, in the next week he can be raised as a suspect," he said.

Regarding the family of the suspect Dadang Buaya, said the police chief, he has fled to his family's house which is considered safe from terror threats.

The police chief emphasized that Dadang Buaya's thuggery had nothing to do with his family, so the police had to protect him.

"The family did not do it, we are obliged to protect them," said the Police Chief.

Previously, Dadang Buaya and his friends were arrested by the police for carrying out the persecution using sharp weapons against two residents.

Dadang's action received attention from the local community because he had just been released from prison and had committed an act by molesting residents.

Dadang Buaya became the previous news because his actions two years ago attacked the Pameungpeuk Koramil Headquarters to find someone who was noisy with him.
