JAKARTA The United Development Party (PPP) was represented by 12 people, including the General Chairperson of Muhamad Mardiono when he visited the Office of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) on Jl. Diponegoro, Central Jakarta, Sunday (30/4). Mardiono's arrival and his entourage to discuss political cooperation, in an effort to win Ganjar Pranowo as President of the Republic of Indonesia 2024-2029.
Mardiono, along with his party management, walked on foot on Sunday afternoon at around 14.00 WIB from the PPP DPP office, which is located next to the PDIP DPP office on Jalan Diponegoro Number 58, Cikini, Menteng, Jakarta.
"The PPP DPP group headed to the PDI-P DPP (PDIP) office on foot and was greeted by the PDI-P DPP, then (we) headed to the meeting room," said PDI-P DPP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto as quoted from his written broadcast in Jakarta, Sunday.
He conveyed that PDIP had coordinated with PPP to prepare a meeting between Mardiono and Megawati. Hasto has also coordinated directly with PPP Secretary General Arwani Thomafi.
Mardiono and Megawati's meeting at the PDIP DPP office was the first time after two parties announced Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate for the 2024 presidential election.
