JAKARTA - The National Awakening Party (PKB) and the Gerindra Party scheduled a meeting on Friday, April 28, this afternoon. The plan is that the meeting of the two political parties that are members of the Greater Indonesia Awakening Coalition (KKIR) will be held at the residence of the General Chairperson of Gerindra, Prabowo Subianto on Jalan Kertanegara, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. "Gus Muhaimin will attend, PKB DPP administrators and Gerindra DPP administrators. Plans for 16.30," said Deputy Secretary General (Wasekjen) of PKB, Syaiful Huda, Friday, April 28. Huda revealed that this afternoon's meeting was a routine meeting of Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin with Prabowo every two weeks. Previously, PKB-Gerindra had also met on the agenda of breaking the fast together at the residence of the defense minister. The topic of discussion at the meeting, continued Huda, was related to the growing political dynamics. Moreover, PDI Perjuangan has announced Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate in 2024. "Of course we will discuss the latest dynamics, yes, because our last routine meeting of PDIP has not yet been declared," explained Huda. In addition, Huda added, the two parties will also finalize coalition cooperation towards the 2024 General Election. However, Huda did not explain whether the meeting would later determine the presidential and vice presidential candidates to be promoted by PKB-Gerindra.

"Of course, if the main agenda finalizes the KKIR continuously, the PKB Gerindra cooperation coalition agenda will continue," said Huda.
