Tomorrow's Joint Leave, Today Homecomers At Kampung Rambutan Terminal Are Predicted To Soar

JAKARTA - The surge in the number of passengers at the Kampung Rambutan Terminal in Jakarta is expected to occur on D-4 Lebaran 2023 or today Tuesday, April 18.

"We estimate that starting this afternoon there will be a surge (passenger) until tomorrow, April 19, 2023," said Head of the Special Team for the Kampung Rambutan Mulyono Terminal, in Jakarta, Tuesday, April 18, which was confiscated by Antara.

Mulyono said the increase was expected as the joint leave holiday would begin on April 19, so that on Tuesday 18 April or today it is estimated to be the last day of work for most people.

Based on data as of April 18, 2023 at 07.00 WIB, the number of passengers departing from Kampung Rambutan Terminal on D-5 was 1,833 people.

This number is still less than 1,848 people on D-6, but slightly more than 1,743 passengers in the same period during the 2022 Eid Homecoming Transport period.

Compared to D-12 during the 2023 Eid Transport period, the number of travelers on the D-4 has increased more than 4 times, with the number of passengers on D-12 as many as 430 passengers.

Meanwhile, the destinations for going home for passengers departing from the terminal include Central Java, West Java, Banten, South Sumatra, Bengkulu, West Sumatra, East Java, and the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY). Most of the passengers departing from the terminal headed for various regions in Central Java.
