NTB Police Refuse To Explain The Role And Identity Of Corruption Suspects At Pratama Dompu Hospital

NTB - Polda NTB has named a suspect in the alleged corruption case in the construction project of the Pratama Manggelewa Hospital, Dompu Regency, for the 2017 fiscal year. However, regarding the identity of the suspect, the NTB Police chose to remain silent.

"That's all (there is a suspect determination) that we can convey," said the Director of Criminal Investigation at the NTB Police, Kombes Pol Nasrun Pasaribu in Mataram, NTB, Wednesday, April 5, as reported by Antara.

Nasrun was reluctant to explain further regarding the number and participation of the suspect in this case. Nasrun was also reluctant to talk about the legal process of detaining the suspect.

Prior to, the development of the handling of the case at the Pratama Manggelewa Hospital was conveyed in more detail when the NTB Police Dirreskrimsus was held by Ekawana.

Ekawana had said that the NTB Police investigators had pocketed a potential state loss of Rp. 400 million.

This figure was found by investigators based on a study on physical examination of buildings with construction experts. The results of the study indicated that physical work was not in accordance with the planning.

However, the potential loss to the state must also be strengthened from the testimony of audit experts. In this case, police investigators collaborated with the NTB Representative Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP).

The budget for the construction of a regional government-owned hospital project comes from the Dompu Regency APBD with a ceiling of Rp. 17 billion.

From the results of the auction, the name of the company with the initials SA from Makassar, South Sulawesi, emerged as the winner with an offering price of IDR 15.76 billion.

In its construction, the project allegedly did not meet the specifications according to the plan and work plan. In fact, the project was delayed and caused a fine that was reportedly paid in full.
