When Meeting Ganjar, Gibran Rakabuming Akui Sorry For Different Opinions At The U-20 World Cup

Solo Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka apologized when he met Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo after having different opinions regarding the U-20 World Cup. "What is clear is that I first apologized to him because of different opinions," he said in Solo, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, April 4. The apology was conveyed when Gibran visited Ganjar at the official residence of the Governor of Central Java, Puri Gedeh Semarang. According to him, differences of opinion are common. In fact, Ganjar also gave a good response and supported the programs that Gibran would do. "The point is yesterday that there was a difference of opinion, I apologize, just move on. (Gibran conveyed to Ganjar) There is a replacement event, (Ganjar answered) 'o yes'," he said. Meanwhile, the U-20 World Cup replacement event has been prepared. However, he did not want to convey much. Regarding the replacement event for the U-20 World Cup will be in the international class. Although he did not explain, he did not deny that the replacement event was also in the form of a football competition. "There is a substitute event (ajang) class U-20. Some are entertainment, some are competitive," he said. In fact, he said, specifically for the U-20 World Cup budget, it will still be installed because it is used for replacement activities.

"(The amount) is according to the original plan. What has been installed for U-20 remains. Just like the beginning, it has not been changed. The point will still be used for activities in that class," he said. He also did not feel the loss of the U-20 World Cup event to be canceled in Indonesia. In fact, he hopes that these replacement events will be able to boost economic growth in Solo City.
