NATUNA - Pontianak Basarnas has again evacuated one landslide victim on Serasan Island, Natuna, Riau Islands (Kepri). The evacuation was carried out by sea using the Ark Nusantara KMP.

Head of the Pontianak Basarnas I Made Junetra said the victim was evacuated on Thursday 9 March evening to Sambas in West Kalimantan (West Kalimantan) to receive medical treatment at the hospital.

He added that a few days ago three victims were referred to a hospital in West Kalimantan.

"With the referral of Mrs. Desi, a total of four patients have been taken to hospitals in West Kalimantan, where three patients were first taken using KM. Bukit Raya to Pontianak City," said Made.

However, one of the three victims who arrived earlier could not be helped and died while on the way.

"The victims who died yesterday have been buried in Pontianak," he concluded.
