376 Joint Team Secure Ustaz Abdul Somad's Arrival in Kapuas Hulu

JAKARTA - A total of 376 joint team personnel were alerted to secure the arrival of invited speaker Ustaz Abdul Somad to attend the sermon at the Uncak Kapuas Sports Hall, Putussibau City, Kapuas Regency, West Kalimantan Province.

The security for Ustad Abdul Somad's arrival involved a joint team consisting of 206 police personnel, 130 TNI personnel, 40 Civil Service Police Unit of Kapuas Hulu personnel and assisted by security volunteers from the community organization Soleh Charity Troops (Paskas), Friends of Charity, Malay Youth, Malay People's Association and several other community organizations.

"We ask all parties to work together to create a conducive situation for Tabligh Akbar activities," said Deputy Head of the Kapuas Hulu Police, Commissioner Hilman Malaini, when a call was held for security forces by Ustaz Abdul Somad, at the Kapuas Hulu Police yard, quoting Antara, Sunday.

According to him, in securing the joint team will be placed at several points, both at vital objects such as Pangsuma Airport, Uncak Kapuas Putussibau Sports Hall, Darunnajah Putussibau Great Mosque, Kapuas Hulu Deputy Regent's Office House and Banana Putussibau Hotel as well as at several vulnerable points.

Ustaz Abdul Somad accompanied by Ustaz Luqmanulhakim and his entourage is scheduled to arrive in Putussibau at 11.30 WIB or 11.45 WIB at Pangsuma Putussibau Airport, followed by a friendly meeting with Forkopimda Kapuas Hulu, traditional community leaders and religious leaders.

As for the Tabligh Akbar, it will be held at 19.30 WIB on Sunday, March 5 and on Monday morning March 6 it will be continued at dawn at the Darunnajah Putussibau Great Mosque.

"Let's provide a sense of security and comfort upon the arrival of Ustaz Abdul Somad," he said.

In addition, Hilman also appealed to all levels of society to work together to maintain security and order and to maintain harmony and tolerance among religious believers.

Meanwhile, Kapuas Hulu Deputy Regent Wahyudi Hidayat appreciated the synergy of the security forces and several community organizations in the plan to secure the arrival of Ustaz Abdul Somad.
