Acid Sprinkler Gangster Attacking Subh Prayer Congregation Is Arrested In Pamulang

TANGERANG - The police have arrested four perpetrators who are suspected of pouring acid on a resident, Ismail (58). South Tangerang Police Public Relations Section Head, Ipda Galih said the 4 perpetrators with the initials DF (22), JD (19), MR (19), and YES (21) were arrested in different areas.

"Arrested the perpetrators in the Pamulang and Mount Sindur areas, Bogor," said Galih when confirmed, Wednesday, February 22.

Galih said that the perpetrator who poured acid on Ismail was DF. While the other 3 perpetrators used sharp weapons.

“Three large bottles were found allegedly containing acid. 4 blades of sickle and sword type," he said.

The perpetrators have been named suspects and charged under Article 351 of the Criminal Code, 170 of the Criminal Code, Article 2 paragraph 1 UUDAR No. 12 of 1951 Jo 55 of the Criminal Code.

Previously, Ismail was doused with acid when he was going to the mosque to perform the fajr prayers.

"When I left the alley, I saw that several motorbike members were attacking each other among other groups," said Ismail.

He admitted that his right hand and chest suffered burns as a result of the acid attack.

Even though at the time of the incident, he only saw a brawl between two groups of teenagers. Ismail did not expect himself to be doused with acid by the perpetrators.

In fact, one of the perpetrators of the brawl was rescued by residents after being splashed with acid on his face.

"I walked to the side, suddenly there was a motorcycle facing each other, they immediately poured acid (on their opponent-ed). I don't know if it hit the face or the eye. The one on the motorbike also hit me in parts of my body. Then I took off my clothes, my wife said the clothes, including the sarong, were yellowish burnt," he said.

"Furthermore, suddenly a motorcycle flushed with acid finally hit one of the gangs. He immediately swerved so that the motorbike he was driving crashed into the fence of a resident's house.

"He got an acid splash, maybe it hit his face or eyes. Do not know. They immediately crashed into a house and fell. His friend wanted to attack with a sharp weapon. The residents are shouting and they immediately fled in that direction. So, there are many (victims who got splashed with acid)," he continued.
