LPSK 'Surrounds' Bharada E After 1 Year 6 Months Sentence, Loud Voices Of Supporters Give Appreciation To Judges

JAKARTA - The Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) immediately surrounded the defendant Richard Eliezer alias Bharada E after the panel of judges finished reading the verdict and closed the trial.

The "surrounded" in question does not have a negative context. Because, the goal is to protect Bharada E from his supporters who rioted after hearing the 1 year 6 month sentence.

Starting from the panel of judges who were reading out the verdict. Four members of the LPSK who had been sitting right behind Bharada E suddenly got up from their seats.

That moment was right after the Chief Judge finished reading the verdict handed down to Bharada E.

They immediately seized the wooden fence that separated the audience from the trial from Bharada E, the prosecutors, and the panel of judges. The reason is, Bharada E's supporters are trying to reach their idol.

In fact, when Chief Judge Wahyu Iman Santoso officially closed the trial, four LPSk members immediately surrounded Bharada E.

Then, they immediately took the accused of premeditated murder Brigadier J out of court to be transferred to the holding cell. The situation outside the South Jakarta District Court courtroom was also boisterous with the voices of Bharada E's supporters. They expressed their gratitude for the judge's sentence which was much lower than the public prosecutor's 12-year requirement.

"Thank you judge, thank you. Hallelujah," said a mother, raising her hands up.

Bharada E was found guilty and involved in a series of premeditated murder cases against Yosua alias Brigadier J. Adjutant Ferdy Sambo was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison.

In the verdict, Bharada E's actions or actions in the series of premeditated murder cases are believed to have violated Article 340 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 Paragraph 1 to (1) of the Criminal Code.

"Sentenced the defendant with imprisonment for 1 year and 6 months," said Chief Judge Wahyu.
