Two US rescue units were sent to go to Turkey. US to assist with ongoing search and rescue operations in Turkey. US Ambassador to Turkey, Jeff Flake, said two units would be deployed.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department also sent their 78-member Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) team to Turkey.

The team will depart Monday evening and could be deployed for two weeks or more, the department said.

“This team is highly skilled and elite in urban search and rescue and is specially trained to assist rescue efforts, especially in earthquakes like the one that recently hit central or southeastern Turkey,” said Marrone.

Japan has sent a Disaster Relief Rescue Team in response to the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
"At the request of the Turkish Government, and bearing in mind Japan's humanitarian perspective and friendly relations with Turkey, Japan has decided to provide this emergency assistance to Turkey to meet its humanitarian needs," the statement said.
