Robbed, A Woman In Deli Serdang Hit The Perpetrator's Motorbike Until They Fell Down

MEDAN - A woman named Fitria Ningsih (38) was the victim of a robbery by 2 motorized men on Medan-Tanjung Morawa Street, Bangun Sari Village, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra.

Tanjung Morawa Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Iptu OJ Samosir said the incident started when the victim who was riding a motorcycle had just come home from work.

When she arrived at the scene, the victim was pressed by the two perpetrators, each with the initials NS (32) and FA (17), who were also riding a motorcycle.

"The perpetrator immediately took the victim's bag which was carried by the victim by pulling it, then the victim chased the perpetrator while shouting 'snatchers'," said Iptu Samosir, Wednesday, February 1.

The victim then chased the perpetrator on her motorbike to the Madirsan Intersection, Hamlet III, Bangun Sari Village. The victim then chased the perpetrator and hit the robber's motorbike, until the perpetrator fell down.

"Because the road was congested, the victim's vehicle managed to catch up with the perpetrator and immediately crashed her motorbike into the perpetrator's motorbike," he said.

The perpetrator fell and got hit by the masses. Not long after, the police arrived and arrested the two perpetrators.

"A number of pieces of evidence belonged to the victim, such as a KTP, a driver's license, more than Rp. 1 in cash. Then a black clothing bag and a cell phone," he said.

To account for their actions, the two perpetrators have been detained at the Tanjung Morawa Police Headquarters to undergo legal proceedings.
