TANGERANG - The Tangerang Banten City Government is targeting that starting in the second quarter of 2023 all officials and employees will no longer use wet signatures but digital ones to accelerate service.

"At the beginning of February all officials and employees have used electronic signatures, in the second quarter of 2023 no longer using wet signatures, all using digital signatures", said Tangerang Mayor Arief R Wismansyah as quoted by Antara, Friday, January 13.

The Mayor also asked to speed up the process of using digital signatures in facilitating the bureaucracy in the Tangerang City environment. In this digital era, changes are happening so fast, therefore employees are expected to be able to prepare administration that is faster and more precise through TTE.

The City Government has also collaborated with the electronic certification center as the electronic certificate organizer, one of which we have applied to the E-Office application.

"There are already 11 applications that apply the Tangerang City Government environmental TTE certificate, out of 1,000 TTD there are 680 that are active", he said.

Furthermore, Mayor Arief advised that by holding this socialization activity, OPD, sub-districts, and urban villages throughout Tangerang City could participate in the process of using digital signatures to serve the public more quickly and accurately.

"Hopefully the use of technology can help accelerate all bureaucratic processes within the Tangerang City Government and in serving the people of Tangerang City", he said.
