2 Day Working Visit in NTB Completed, Jokowi Returns to Jakarta

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo's working visit to West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) has been completed. The delegation of heads of state departed for Jakarta on Thursday, December 29 afternoon.

President Jokowi and First Lady Iriana took off from Lombok International Airport Zainuddin Abdul Madjid, Central Lombok Regency, NTB, at around 15.00 WITA.

Seen as the Governor of West Nusa Tenggara Zulkieflimansyah departed from the President's departure for Jakarta, Central Lombok Regent Lalu Pathul Bahri, Regional Military Commander IX/Udayana Major General TNI Sonny Aprianto, and West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police Chief Inspector General Pol Djoko Poerwanto.

Based on the press release, the President's entourage is scheduled to arrive at the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, at 16.00 WIB.

As is known, the President and Mrs. Iriana worked in NTB for two days. Jokowi carried out several activities in NTB, including inaugurating permanent housing after the Seroja storm disaster in Bima Regency and inaugurating the Beringin Sila Dam in Sumbawa Regency.

Apart from that, the President accompanied by the First Lady also visited several markets in the two regencies to hand over social assistance to the beneficiaries.
