JAKARTA - Defendant Ferdy Sambo reiterated that his wife, Putri Candrawathi, was a victim of rape by Brigadier J. However, for those who still do not believe, he only prays that his wife and family will not become victims. The statement was made after he finished undergoing a trial in the alleged murder of Brigadier J at the South Jakarta District Court, Thursday, December 22. "It was conveyed at the trial, that the psychologist's statement was clear that there was an incident in Magelang, rape my wife. If someone doesn't believe it, I pray it doesn't happen to his wife or family," said Ferdy Sambo. As a plaintiff, Putri Candrawathi admitted that Brigadier J had raped her at Magelang's house on July 7. However, until now the alleged harassment has no evidence of a post-mortem, so the truth is doubtful. However, in the previous trial, forensic psychologist Reni Kusumowardhani said that based on the results of the examination, the confession could be trusted. This is because, from several indicators, Putri's testimony is consistent and considered credible. "So what was conveyed by Mrs. Putri is in accordance with the criteria that are credible with the sexual violence that occurred in Magelang according to Putri," said Reni. However, it was reaffirmed to ensure whether or not there was an act of harassment should be proven by a legal process. "Then it needs to be investigated by law, of course.
