Projo At Golkar Headquarters: Jokowi Volunteers On Political Safari To Several Political Parties, Near Gerindra

JAKARTA - Joko Widodo (Jokowi) volunteer group, who are members of the organizers of the People's Deliberation (Musra) will tour the parties.

This was conveyed by the General Chairperson of Pro Jokowi Volunteers (Projo) Budi Arie Setiadi after undergoing a political safari visiting the Golkar Party DPP Office, Jakarta, Monday 7 November.

"We are all parties as far as, as far as possible, as far as possible, we communicate with all parties," he said.

Budi said the next party to be visited in the near future is Gerindra. Projo is scheduled to visit Prabowo Subianto's residence on Thursday 10 November.

"We are with Pak Prabowo for sure Thursday, Thursday at 1 pm," said the man who served as Deputy Minister of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration (Wamendes PDTT).

Budi said that Projo's next political safari would meet with PAN and PP who are members of the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB). He admitted that Projo's efforts to make friendships did not rule out the possibility of going to a number of other parties.

"And also some others, maybe if we have the opportunity, we will also go to other parties," he said.

He explained that Projo would not only discuss the results of Musra in each of his political safaris. However, Budi said the discussion would be around the national and populist agenda.

"This Musra, Mr. President, has ordered it to be continued because this is the most honest recording tool about what the people's hopes and desires are," he said.

This, Budi said, was because Jokowi's volunteer groups used Musra as a political laboratory to determine the considerations of presidential and vice presidential candidates for the 2024 election, in addition to surveys and political decisions of each political party.

"The survey agency has 1,200 respondents, we have 3,000-4,000 people at Musra," said Budi.

Previously, Budi said that the gathering with Golkar was the first time that the joint Jokowi volunteer organ had visited a political party.

"This is the first meeting of Jokowi's volunteers at the political party office and this is the Golkar office," he said, Monday, November 7.

The gathering, which was held behind closed doors, began at 19.49 WIB. Present at the meeting, the General Chair of the Golkar Party, Airlangga Hartarto, was accompanied by a number of Golkar Party DPP officials along with representatives of 18 Jokowi volunteer groups who were members of the Musra organizers.

There were also a number of Golkar Party leaders including DPR Commission I Member Nurul Arifin who served as Golkar's Deputy General Chair, Minister of Industry (Menperin) Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita who served as Deputy General Chair of the Golkar Party.

Then, Deputy Chair of Commission VIII of the Indonesian House of Representatives Ace Hasan Syadzily who is also the Chair of the Golkar DPP, Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian Parliament Lodewijk Freidrich Paulus who also serves as Secretary General of the Golkar Party DPP and Member of Commission XI DPR Puteri Komarudin.
