Drug User And Dealer In Depok Arrested With Evidence 7 Plastic Clips Of Meth Worth IDR 2.5 Million

JAKARTA - A husband and wife couple in Depok was arrested for possession of meth. At the same time, the police also arrested one person who was a business partner.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Mampang Police, South Jakarta AKP Budi Bowo said the three were arrested at two different locations in the Depok area, Tuesday, November 1. The couple's initials are DJ (32) female, A (39) male, and RM (38).

"We have arrested three people. One of them is a husband and wife couple, namely DJ, and A," said Budi in his statement, Monday, November 7.

In addition to arresting the perpetrators, his party also secured 7 plastic clips suspected of being methamphetamine, four cellphones, a motorbike, and IDR 2.5 million in cash.

Furthermore, his party also conducted urine tests on the three perpetrators, the results were positive for using drugs.

"From the results of the urine test, all three are positive," continued Budi.

Now the three have been taken to the Mampang Prapatan Sector Police to account for their actions, they are charged with Article 112 paragraph (1), Article 114 paragraph (1), and Article 127 of Law No. 35 of 2009 on Narcotics with a threat of life imprisonment.
