The Body Of Denpasar PDAM Officer Who Slipped And Was Swept Away By The Current In The Ayung River Dam Was Found On Padang Galak Beach

DENPASAR - The joint SAR team finally found the body of the officer of Perumda Tirta Air Bersih Sewakadarma or PDAM Denpasar, I Nyoman Patra (44) who fell and slipped and was carried away by the current in a dam or dam on the Ayung River, Banjar Uma Desa, Peguyangan Kaja Village, North Denpasar District, Bali. The victim was found on Padang Galak Beach, Sanur.

The joint SAR team deployed 6 search personnel. The team conducted searches at several points from the Peraupan Dam to the Oongan Dam flow.

"The joint SAR team is searching to comb the flow of the Ayung River, from the LKM towards the downstream", said SAR Coordinator Wayan Murliasa, Wednesday, October 19.

After about 40 minutes of searching, the team received information on the discovery of the victim's body at Padang Galak Beach, Sanur, South Denpasar, Bali. The distance from where the body was found to the initial location of the victim fell was about 9.6 kilometers.

"His body was found by residents at 16.25 WITA. Then the team moved closer to the place of discovery and carried out an evacuation. The body was taken to Sanglah Hospital by using a Denpasar City BPBD ambulance", he said.

Previously, the victim and his two colleagues, Ida Bagus Made Suarsana Adinata (27) and I Rai Suryadi (53) were cleaning up trash and wooden twigs in the Ayung River dum. However, during cleaning, the victim slipped.

"When the victim was cleaning up trash and wooden twigs, the victim's leg slipped and then the victim drowned and until now the victim has not been found", said Head of Public Relations of Denpasar Police Iptu I Ketut Sukadi, Wednesday, October 19.
