JAKARTA - The Bandung City Government studied in England to learn to manage soccer stadiums to optimize the use of the Bandung Lautan Api Stadium (GBLA).

Bandung Mayor Yana Mulyana assessed that England has excellent experience in managing football as an industry.

"Just about management, so England has football experience, later there will be a transfer of knowledge related to modern football management," said Yana when hosting British Ambassador Owen Jenkins for Indonesia in Bandung, West Java, Tuesday, October 18.

He hopes that Bandung will be invited to the UK to study stadium management in order to strengthen the football industry in Bandung.

"But of course it depends on further talks," Yana said as quoted by Antara.

Meanwhile, Owen Jenkins appreciated the Bandung City Government after productive talks related to collaboration.

He revealed that his country has various world-class soccer stadiums. He could be his country sharing experiences about football management.

"It would also be better if we could share experiences about football, and make stadiums in Bandung world-class," said Owen.

The Bandung City Government also plans to collaborate in the management of the public transportation sector and waste management.
