JAKARTA - Nine teenagers who were detained by the West Jakarta Metro Police Precision Pioneer Patrol Team were finally released by the police. They were released because they were not proven guilty.

"We have returned it to his parents. We are restorative justice," said Palmerah Police Chief AKP Dodi Abdulrohim to VOI, Monday, October 17.

AKP Dodi said the nine teenagers who were detained were minors. After an examination, it was found that the nine teenagers did not have sharp weapons.

Even though the police have been released, AKP Dodi said, several of the nine teenagers have also received sanctions from the school.
