President Zelensky Says US And Europe Must Unite To Stop Putin And Save Ukraine

JAKARTA - President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Thursday the United States and the European Union should unite to stop Russian President Vladimir Putin and help Ukraine.

He said that at the summit of EU leaders in Brussels, Belgium.

"For us, this is very important, especially since the beginning of next year, we really need unity between the United States and the EU and European countries," President Zelensky said.

"We need this unity to achieve peace. I think just together the United States and Europe can really stop Putin and save Ukraine," he explained.

President Zelensky added that Ukraine's energy sector protection, increasing Ukraine's weapons production, and urgent assistance to the education system would be on the agenda during the visit.

As previously reported, President Zelensky held talks with NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte on Wednesday and with EU leaders today to get immediate help for support on the battlefield, discussing long-term security guarantees.
