Former Sub-Head Of Metro Jaya Police Sentenced To 4 Years Of Demotion After Brigadier J's Case

JAKARTA - The Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) has found AKBP Rainra Ramadhan Syah guilty of his unprofessionalism in the series of murder cases of Brigadier J.

The former subordinate of the Metro Jaya Police Chief, Inspector General Fadil Imran, was sentenced to a demotional mutation for four years.

"The transfer sanction is demotional for 4 AKBP Raindra Ramadhan Syah since being transferred to Yanma Polri," said Karo Penmas of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan to reporters, Wednesday, September 28.

In addition, in the trial, the former Head of the Sub-Directorate for State Security (Kamneg) of the Polda Metro Jaya is also required to participate in mental, personality, psychological, religious, and professional knowledge development for 1 month.

Then, apologize verbally in front of the KKEP trial assembly and or in writing to the leadership of the National Police and the injured party.

Not to forget, the panel of judges also imposed a special placement sanction (patsus) in the National Police's Propam Division for 29 days from 12 August to 10 September 2022.

"The placement in a special place has been undertaken by violators," said Ramadhan.

The row of sanctions was due to the actions of AKBP Raindra Ramadhan Syah deemed to have violated Article 13 paragraph 1 of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia number 1 of 2003 concerning the dismissal of members of the National Police in conjunction with Article 5 paragraph 1 letter C, Article 6 paragraph 1 letter D, Article 11 paragraph 1 letter A concerning regulations The Republic of Indonesia National Police Number 7 of 2022 concerning the Professional Code of Ethics and the Police Code of Ethics Commission.

Apart from AKBP Raindra Ramadhan Syah who has undergone a KKEP trial, at least 16 members of the National Police have been tried in the series of cases of Brigadier J.

They are Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, Commissioner Chuck Putranto, Commissioner Baiquni Wibowo, and Kombes Agus Nur Patria.

Then, AKP Dyah Chandrawati, AKBP Pujiyarto, AKBP Jerry Raymond Siagian, Bharada Sadam, and Brigadier Frilliyan.

Then, First Brigadier Firman Dwi Ariyanto, First Brigadier Sigid Mukti Hanggono, First Brigadier Januar Arifin, AKP Idham Fadilah, Iptu Hardista Pramana Tampubolon, and Ipda Arsyad Daiva Gunawan.
