JAKARTA - Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub), Syafrin Liputo, said that his party is targeting the construction of 100 units of public electric vehicle filling stations (SPKLU) until 2026.

This is stated in Governor Regulation Number 25 of 2022 concerning the DKI Jakarta Regional Development Plan (RPD) for 2023-2026.

"For the SPKLU, as planned for regional development in 2023-2026, our target is 100 units installed in the DKI area," Syafrin told reporters, Wednesday, September 28.

As for gradually, the SPKLU development target in 2023 is 10 units, in 2024 there will be 30 units, and in 2025 there will be 60 units.

Currently, the DKI Provincial Government is reviewing the construction of SPKLU at the two Capital Terminals in stages, namely Pulogebang Terminal, East Jakarta, and Grogol Terminal, West Jakarta.

Syafrin targets that in the long term SPKLU can be installed at each terminal in DKI Jakarta so that it can accommodate, especially for public transportation filling such as large buses and small buses at the terminal.

Not only for public transportation, but the SPKLU can also be used for electric-based private vehicles. In the near future, his party will also collaborate with the private sector so that they can also build SPKLU so as to accommodate the needs of the general public.

"In order for them to build SPKLU in collaboration, including Jakpro's subsidiary and we are identifying it at several terminal locations, the SPKLU will later install it to support the electric-based motor vehicle program," said Syafrin.

Meanwhile, in electric vehicles, the DKI Provincial Government has now operated 30 Transjakarta electric buses. The plan is that by the end of this year, the procurement of electric buses will be increased to 100 units.

"We focus on the Transjakarta bus, the Transjakarta target is that this year the operation is 100 units. Now, now it has run, it was launched last March by the governor, the rest are in process, and in the near future we will launch it," said Syafrin.

For information, the procurement of SPKLU to electric vehicles is an implementation of Presidential Instruction Number 7/2022 concerning Battery-Battery Electric Vehicles (Battery Electric Vehicles) as Operational Service Vehicles and/or Individual Vehicles of the Central Government Agency and Regional Government.
