Meeting Cak Imin Next Week, Puan Maharani Brings Messages From Megawati

JAKARTA - PDIP DPP chairman Puan Maharani is scheduled to meet with PKB General Chair (Ketum) Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin next Saturday, September 24.

The meeting with PKB is a continuation of Puan's political safari which was ordered by PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri to stay in touch with other political parties ahead of the 2024 General Election. Previously, Puan had visited the General Chair of the NasDem Party, Surya Paloh, and Gerindra General Chair Prabowo Subianto. After PKB, Puan was again scheduled to meet the General Chairperson of Golkar Airlangga Hartarto, which was canceled at the beginning of last month. Puan's visit to Cak Imin was revealed by the Chairperson of the PDIP DPP Said Abdullah.

"God willing, Saturday next week. Not this week, next Sunday," Said explained, as quoted on Wednesday, September 15.

However, Said could not confirm the location of the meeting between Puan and Cak Imin. Currently, he said, the location of the meeting is still being discussed.

"It's just the location where we are looking for comfortable momentum, is it in Cak Imin or at Ms. Puan, or both of their choice," Said explained.

Said explained that there would be a one-on-one talk agenda during the meeting between Puan and Cak Imin later. Puan, he said, brought messages from Megawati to be discussed with Cak Imin.

"Still everything is fixed, but between Ms. Puan and Prabowo, Ms. Puan and NasDem Surya Paloh, Ms. Puan and Cak Imin, Ms. Puan and Mr. Airlangga, it is certain that Ms. Puan will meet 4 eyes and it will be discussed, of course, the main thing is the message of Mrs. Mega's 3 things," he said.
