Denying Formula E Issues Take Over Singapore For Polemics, Jakpro: FEO Akui Jakarta Most Successive

JAKARTA - PT Jakarta Propertido dismissed news about Formula E Jakarta being taken over by Singapore because of the polemics that have continued to appear since before the implementation until the race is over.

VP Corporate Secretary of PT Jakpro Syachrial Syarif said that the Formula E event in Jakarta was actually recognized as the most successful by Formula E license holders, namely Formula E Operation (FEO).

"Essentially, the Formula E event in Jakarta received FEO recognition as the most successful throughout the season and received world attention," Syachrial told reporters, Sunday, September 11.

Syachrial said that the electric car racing event which will be held in 2023 and 2024 will definitely be held because the contract between Jakpro as the organizer and FEO has been signed.

In fact, he continued, Jakpro will maximize the implementation of Formula E the following year. Considering that the DKI Provincial Government wants Formula E to gain regional income and improve the community's economy.

Although, it is known that at that time Anies Baswedan no longer served as Governor of DKI.

"We will maximize the event for the next 2 years, which has a contract, so that the benefits of the Formula E event can be felt by the community and contribute to increasing regional income," said Syachrial.

"For this reason, support from all parties is needed for the success of the implementation of Formula E in Jakarta," he continued.

Previously, former Indonesian Ambassador to Poland, Peter Gontha, via his Twitter account @PeterGontha stated that Singapore would take over Formula E from Jakarta. He knows this from international media.

Peter Gontha said the takeover of the Formula E event was due to the constant polemic over Formula E.

"Info A1 media international: SINGAPORE will take over the FORMULA-E car race. And signed a 10-year agreement with FEO because Indonesia made a fuss about the FORMULA E last month. Let's keep making noise so that everything is done in Singapore!" Peter Gontha said on his Twitter account, Wednesday, September 7th.
