Police: Commissioner Agus Nurpatra Allegedly Not Only Damaged CCTV The Murder Case Of Brigadier J

JAKARTA - Former Head of the National Police's Professional and Security Division (Propam), Commissioner Agus Nurpata, underwent a hearing at the Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) following the obstruction of justice behind the murder case of Brigadier J. It was later revealed that the officer not only damaged CCTV but also committed violations during the crime scene investigation.

"So the latest information conveyed by Karo Wabprof, friends, KBP ANP (Commissioner Agus Nurpatra, ed) he did not only violate one article, but he violated several articles apart from destroying CCTV evidence there were also other violations when carrying out the crime scene investigation, the same", said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo to reporters, Tuesday, September 6.

In fact, it is not only Commissioner Agus Nurpatra who is suspected of committing several violations. Other suspects are also said to be suspected of several criminal articles.

"So that person can violate several articles that were alleged by the team from Itsus and a team from Police's Professional and Security Division (Propam). All of this was proven in the code of ethics trial process", said Dedi.

In the KKEP trial, Commissioner Agus Nurpatra, at least 14 witnesses were presented. Thus, the dozens of witnesses will determine the fate of the officer as a member of the National Police.

Commissioner Agus Nurpatria is one of seven suspects in the obstruction of justice. In that case, he played a role in damaging CCTV around the official residence of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo in Duren Tiga.

Then, of the other six suspected obstructions of justice, two of them have been sentenced to dishonorable discharge (PTDH). They are Commissioner Chuck Putranto and Commissioner Baiquni Wibowo.
