JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan inaugurated 12 simple rental flats (rusunawa) spread across 4 administrative cities of DKI Jakarta. There are a total of 33 towers with 7,421 housing units in these 12 flats.

Anies revealed that the construction of the Rusunawa was included in one of his political promises when he was governor of DKI Jakarta, namely facilitating housing for the people in Jakarta.

"We do all this, why? Because we have a political promise. The political promise is to develop facilitation, prepare housing facilities, flats, including flats for all residents and have equal cases," he explained.

On that occasion, Anies stated that the construction of the Rusunawa which he inaugurated has access that is close to education units to access to public transportation.
