Beside The Lawyer, Alfamart Employee Even Apologized After Caught A Woman In A Mercy Car Stealing Chocolate

JAKARTA - A viral video of an Alfamart employee apologizing after finding a woman not paying for a chocolate she took from a minimarket window. The video went viral on social media.

In the viral video, Alfamart employees can be seen approaching women who have left the minimarket. The woman was seen sitting in the driver's seat of a Mercedes-Benz car parked in the yard of the minimarket.

Along with other Alfamart employees, the woman was caught carrying chocolate bars without paying.

"Well I took it [removing the chocolate from behind her body]," said the woman admitting her mistake.

The chocolate bars were then returned to Alfamart employees. She admitted that she had taken the chocolate past the convenience store cashier without paying.

A moment later the woman wanted to close the car door and was prevented by Alfamart employees.

"I refuse, please pay first," said an Alfamart employee.

The woman then got out of the car to the cashier of the minimarket. "Why steal the chocolate, I see you, ma'am," said the Alfamart employee.

Based on the latest video seen by the VOI editor, the Alfamart employee apologized. She was flanked by a woman who was caught not paying for the chocolates and her lawyer.

"I am an Alfamart employee, I want to clarify the video that has been spread on social media because there has been a misunderstanding between the two of us that has harmed Mrs. Mariana," said an Alfamart employee.

"And I apologize to Mrs. Mariana for the video that was spread yesterday. Thank God, today it has been resolved amicably," she continued.

The two interrelated videos have been uploaded by many netizens. One of the netizens who uploaded was furious with the incident.

"This is too late. A woman who is caught shoplifting instead turn to press Alfamart employees just because she is able to hire a lawyer. Instead of her apologizing, Ms. Alfamart has to apologize," commented the Twitter account @zoelf**k.
