Inspector General Ferdy Sambo Isolated At Mako Brimob, House Of Representatives Commission III: Alleged Ethical Violations Will Definitely Lead To Criminal

JAKARTA - Inspector General Ferdy Sambo will be placed in a special place (Patsus) Mako Brimob Kelapa Dua, Depok, West Java, for the next month on suspicion of violating procedures in the crime scene processing of the death of Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat alias Brigadier.

Member of Commission III of the House of Representatives, Ahmad Ali, believes that the alleged ethical violation will inevitably lead to a criminal offence.

"If an internal investigation of ethical violations is being carried out, I assure you it will result in a criminal offence," said Ali when contacted on Monday, August 8.

However, according to him, the Indonesian Police need to collect sufficient evidence, both through the statements of witnesses and other evidence. Because with sufficient evidence, said Ali, the Police can continue to identify suspects. If there is no evidence, Ali added, then the determination of the suspect cannot be based solely on the wishes of the public. "So it really depends on the discovery of evidence during the examination," said Ali. Meanwhile, CCTV at Inspector General Ferdy Sambo's halfway house is still a polemic. The reason is, the aide's confession to one another said it wasn't long ago that he was struck by lightning. Meanwhile, there are allegations that CCTV was deliberately damaged.

Therefore, the NasDem politician also reminded that the examination of the alleged ethical violation should not rule out the criminal realm. Because these two things can go hand in hand.

"If criminal evidence is found in the course of investigating an ethical case, then he can be investigated simultaneously," he said.
