BANDUNG - A total of 700 women in Rancaekek, Bandung Regency, West Java, who joined the Mak Ganjar Volunteers West Java prayed for politicians who is also the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, to become Indonesian Presidential Candidates (Capres) in the 2024 Election.

"We from the women in Rancaekek promise to actively spread the aspirations of 'Ganjar Pranowo President 2024'," said Regional Coordinator (Korwil) Mak Ganjar West Java, Nurafsi as reported by ANTARA, Sunday, August 7.

These women come from different professions, said Nurafsi, assessing that Ganjar Pranowo is a leader who cares and pays attention to marginalized groups, including women who often get less attention.

Ganjar Pranowo shows concern by creating programs for women, such as the Central Java Health Card (KJS) which distributes assistance worth Rp. 250.000 per month, Credit Programs, namely cheap loans for women, market traders and small industry players, and many more.

"We see that Mr. Ganjar is very extraordinary for us women, it can be seen from his experience as a governor in Central Java and then has a nationalist personality and people who really love and care for women and can raise the status of women," said Nurafsi.

Nurafsi added, with all the success of his program and his attention to the marginalized, the number one person in Central Java is considered the most appropriate figure to lead Indonesia in the 2024 election.

The holding of prayer and remembrance activities with Mak Ganjar in West Java is not only to consolidate Ganjar Pranowo's supporters for President 2024, but also to make the public more aware of Ganjar's vision and ideas for Indonesia's progress in the future.

"So today we carry out prayers and remembrance together for the smoothness of the health of Mr. Ganjar Pranowo, who becomes an extraordinary figure and will become the President of Indonesia in 2024," said Nurafsi.

One of the new volunteers of Mak Ganjar West Java, Jejeh admitted that he immediately idolized the figure of Ganjar Pranowo since he found out about it through mass media and social media reports.

Jejeh said, it is rare for a leader or presidential candidate to be able to appear openly, as he is, and at the same time have a role to play for the welfare of society, especially among women through their work programs.

"Well, I just recently found out that there is a presidential candidate who focuses more on one of his programs for the welfare of women, who really pays attention to women," said Jejeh.

Therefore, Jejeh hopes that Ganjar can be elected as President of the Republic of Indonesia in the political contestation in 2024.

Thus, Ganjar's work programs that are proven to be able to improve the welfare of the people and advance the province of Central Java can be developed to the national level.

"Maybe in the future there will be other programs that can reach women like that, which can improve the lives of women and then can also help the family economy," said Jejeh.
