Terios Driver Fake RFH Plate Who Hits Police On Pancoran Toll Road Student Status

JAKARTA - The driver of the Daihatsu Terios car with a special RFH license plate with the initials JFA (20) who crashed into a member of the Highway Patrol (PJR) Police Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) of the Polda Metro Jaya, on the Pancoran Toll Road, South Jakarta, turned out to be a student.

"Student, born in September 2001," said Acting Head of Sub-Directorate of Gakkum Polda Metro Jaya, Kompol Edy Purwanto when confirmed, Sunday, August 7.

Now, JFA has been named a suspect and charged with Article 311 Paragraph 3 of the Road Traffic and Transportation Law (LLAJ).

Police confirmed that the gray vehicle number was suspected to be fake. This is because the driver cannot submit a vehicle certificate that can prove that the car has a special plate.

"The RFH plates used or installed are fake or not legally issued," said Edy.

As is known, the incident occurred on Friday, around 14.00 WIB. The incident began when PJR members became suspicious of the existence of a car with a secret RFH license plate and used a strobe.

The RFH plate is a type of car plate used specifically by echelon II state officials or at the ministry director level.

The officer intended to stop the driver of the car to conduct an inspection.

"Yes, if the secret plate car is not allowed to use a strobe. Those who are allowed to use it are official cars. Police and TNI are allowed. If the secret plate car is not allowed to have a strobe," said Head of the PJR Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya, Sutikno.

However, when stopped, the driver of the car actually tried to run away and hit the officer.

The car driver then tried to escape by crossing the toll road in the direction of North Jakarta to the NCO and was arrested.
