"The perpetrator AJ abused the victim by stabbing one knife into the victim's left waist," he explained.
After receiving a stab from the perpetrator, the victim was immediately taken to the hospital to get help by riding in a passing vehicle. Meanwhile, the victim's mother reported the incident to the police.
After that, the police conducted an investigation and hunted down the perpetrators. As a result, the Simalungun Police Jatanras Unit managed to find out the whereabouts of the perpetrators.
"Officers received information that the perpetrator was in the vicinity of Kuta Usang Village, Pegagan Hilir District, Dairi Regency. When they arrived at the location, the officers immediately arrested the perpetrator," said AKP Aribowo.
During interrogation, the perpetrator admitted that he had stabbed the victim. The perpetrator also admitted that the knife he used to stab the victim had been thrown into the river in Aek Luhung Hamlet.
"The perpetrator was upset because the victim always mocked and threatened him so that he felt emotional," he said.
Currently, the perpetrator has been detained at the Simalungun Police Criminal Investigation Unit for the investigation process.
