BMKG Predicts The Weather In Most Big Cities Will Be Sunny And Cloudy Today, Including Jakarta And Surabaya

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that most major cities in Indonesia will be cloudy today, Tuesday, August 2.

During the day, the weather for the cities of Banda Aceh, Denpasar, Serang, Yogyakarta, Gorontalo, Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya, Tarakan, Kupang, Manado and Padang is forecasted to be cloudy.

The cities of Bengkulu, Jakarta, Jambi, Bandar Lampung, Ternate, Mataram, the cities of Jayapura, Pekanbaru and Medan are forecasted to be cloudy during the day.

Light rain during the day is likely to fall in the cities of Palangka Raya, Samarinda, Pangkal Pinang, Tanjung Pinang, Manokwari, Mamuju, Makassar and Palembang.

Meanwhile, based on the Antara report, the cities of Pontianak and Banjarmasin are likely to experience rain accompanied by lightning and the cities of Ambon and Kendari are facing the potential for moderate-intensity rain during the day.

In the evening, the weather in Kupang is forecasted to be sunny, while the cities of Denpasar, Central Jakarta, Gorontalo, Surabaya, Mataram, and Manokwari are cloudy.

The cities of Banda Aceh, Serang, Bengkulu, Yogyakarta, Jambi, Bandung, Pontianak, Banjarmasin, Tanjung Pinang, Pangkal Pinang, Jayapura, Pekanbaru, Makassar, Kendari, Padang and Palembang are forecast to be cloudy at night.

In the evening, light rain is forecast in the cities of Semarang, Palangka Raya, and Tarakan and moderate rains are likely to fall in the cities of Medan and Mamuju.
