TANGERANG - An unidentified female body (Mrs. X) was found at the Puri 11 red light intersection, Karang Tengah, Tangerang City.

Ciledug Police Chief Kompol Noor Meghantara said the discovery occurred on Saturday, July 23, in the morning.

He estimated that the victim had been dead since three days ago, due to the decomposing condition of the body.

"Yes, it's true that there was the discovery of the body of an unidentified woman. Age about 30 years. The condition has decomposed because it is estimated that it has been 3 days,” said Noor when contacted by VOI, Saturday, July 23.

Noor explained that the discovery was initially known by residents of the housing WhatsApp group (WAG).

Furthermore, the information was reported to the Ciledug Police until finally it carried out an evacuation of the victim.

"So we got a report from a citizen group, then it was reported to us (police) and immediately evacuated," he said.

The victim has now been rushed to the Tangerang District Hospital for further action. Police are still investigating the cause of death.

"Allegations are still not confirmed. Because the wounds are still not visible. From the location of the place, it could be murder. We don't want to speculate. If there is a sharp object stab wound, then we can conclude," concluded.
