38 Clusters Of Hajj Pilgrims Have Been Returned To Indonesia

MAKKAH - As many as 38 flying groups (kloter) of the first batch of Hajj pilgrims have been returned to the country after completing the 2022 hajj pilgrimage series.

"Since July 15, we have dispatched hajj pilgrims back to Indonesia in approximately 38 groups with around 15,000 pilgrims," said Head of the Makkah Working Area (Daker) Mukhammad Khanif in Makkah as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 20.

The process of repatriating Indonesian pilgrims from Makkah to the country will take place from 15 to 29 July 2022. They are the first batch of pilgrims who arrived in Medina to undergo the Arbain worship.

Starting Thursday (21/7), Daker Makkah will also begin to dispatch pilgrims to Medina. They are pilgrims who departed in the second wave who arrived in Jeddah and then headed to Makkah to undergo the Hajj procession first.

The departure of the congregation will use the means of intercity bus transportation. Khanif ensured that the bus to be used was ready. The buses provided are in good condition with a maximum year of output no more than five years.

The departure for Medina began with the congregation of the 24 Embarkation Jakarta – Pondok Gede (JKG 24) group. A total of 393 pilgrims will depart at 07.00 Saudi Arabian Time from Makkah.

"Tomorrow, five groups are scheduled to depart for Medina with a total of approximately 1,932 pilgrims," he continued.
