Mocked By The Head Of INASPOC Karbitan, Mayor Of Gibran Challenges Mardani PKS: Come To Solo!

JAKARTA - Solo Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka serves as Chair of the Indonesia ASEAN Para Games 2022 Organizing Committee (INASPOC). The chairman of the PKS DPP, Mardani Ali Sera, considered Gibran the chairman of INASPOC karbitan.

Gibran was judged by Mardani as not worthy of holding the task as chairman of the committee for the international event which was held in Solo, Central Java

Gibran said he was appointed chairman of INASPOC because the event was held in Solo. "Yes, the host is Solo," said Gibran, quoted from the Surakarta News Youtube channel, Sunday, June 26.

To those who judged that he was not worthy to sit as Chair of INASPOC, Gibran challenged to come to Solo to replace his current position in running the event.

"Who wants to be chairman? Those who want to be chairman come to Solo!" he added.

Gibran said those who opposed him becoming the Chair of INASPOC could immediately replace his position without having to be burdened by the 2022 Para Games because everything had been planned.

"Change me is okay, just run it," he said.

On the same occasion, Gibran said State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) were ready to sponsor the 2022 Para Games. This was acknowledged by Gibran who had just met and held discussions with SOE Minister Erick Thohir and media owner Hary Tanoesoedibjo.

Gibran said that the state-owned companies that will sponsor the 2022 Para Games include Angkasapura, PLN, and Telkom. He said the meeting between them would be resumed tomorrow Monday.

"Yesterday, I met Mr. Erick and Mr. Hari Tanu. It was agreed from BUMN," said Gibran.

Meanwhile, the discussion with Hari Tanoe agreed on the broadcast rights for the 2022 Para Games.

"Later, if it's lacking, we'll look for it later. He was successful yesterday. But the difference is that our budget at the 2022 Para Games is minimal. Try to compare it with PON," he said.
