Complete Letter But Suspected As Fake, 11 Vehicles Detained At Bastiong Ferry Port, North Sulawesi

JAKARTA - Head of North Maluku Police Public Relations (Malut) Grand Commissioner Pol. Michael Irwan Thamsil said that his party secured 11 motorized vehicles that had just arrived at Bastiong Ferry Port on the Dalente Ferry from Bitung Harbor, North Sulawesi (Sulut).

The eleven vehicles were equipped with documents suspected of being stolen. From the results of the initial examination, he said, the vehicle was suspected of being the result of a criminal act of theft or embezzlement.

"For the vehicles that were secured, there were 10 units of two-wheeled vehicles and 1 unit of four-wheeled vehicles," he said in Ternate, quoted from Antara, Sunday, June 12.

All of these vehicles as of Sunday, June 12, were still being held at the General Crime Investigation Directorate of North Maluku Police. Currently being investigated further.

"Currently, the team is conducting interviews and examinations of the owner of the vehicle for the development of the investigation," he said.

Furthermore, the team will also carry out developments to uncover the interprovincial motor vehicle collection network and will coordinate with the North Sulawesi Regional Police for this case.

The motor vehicles that were secured were 1 Avanza car, 2 Nmax motorbikes, 1 Aerox motorbike, 2 Beat motorbikes, 1 PCX motorbike, 2 Vario motorbikes, 1 Mio motorbike, and 1 CB 150R motorbike.
