COVID-19 Update As Of June 11: 574 New Cases, DKI Jakarta Donates 314 Cases

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. Of the 56,150 specimens examined, 574 positive cases were added.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6,059,937 and active cases have increased by 197 to 4,538", according to data from the Ministry of Health, Saturday, June 11.

Today's recovered cases increased by 374 people, bringing the total to 5,898,758 people recovered. Then, positive confirmed cases who died increased by 3 cases and totaled 156,641 people.

The province with the newest cases is DKI Jakarta with 314 cases and a total of 1,253,197 cases. Followed by West Java which has 92 new cases with a total of 1,107,376 cases. Banten with 71 new cases and a total of 293,746 cases. East Java with 41 new cases and a total of 576,659 cases.

The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 172 recovered cases.

Followed by Banten with an additional 77 recovered cases, West Nusa Tenggara with 38 recovered cases, East Java with an additional 36 recovered cases, and West Java with 23 recovered cases.

In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens has reached 99,447,309.

"Positive results per number of people tested or the positivity rate of people this week is 1.41 percent", it wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases has reached 3,288. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.

To date, 200,818,541 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 168,030,935 people have received the second dose of vaccination.

Meanwhile, the third dose of vaccination has been given to 47,535,860 people. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208,265,720 people.
