Sandiaga Uno Supports Vespa World Days 2022 In Bali To Awaken The Tourism Sector

JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy/Head of the Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Menparekraf/Kabarekraf), Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, hopes that the 2022 Vespa World Days event which will take place on Peninsula Island, The Nusa Dua, Bali, can help revive the tourism sector and the creative economy.

"I hope that international events like this can encourage tourism and the creative economy in Indonesia along with the gradual recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. I also hope that this event can be a medium to boost nomadic tourism in Bali", said Sandiaga in a press release, Saturday, June 11.

Vespa World Day is the biggest Vespa club event in the world which this year will take place from 9-12 June 2022 in Bali and has become history because after almost 60 years it has always been held in Europe. This year for the first time Vespa World Days were held outside Europe. Indonesia became the first country in Asia to have the opportunity to host this prestigious event.

Minister Sandiaga, when welcoming the Vespa World Days participants online, said that the Vespa World Days could be a medium to boost nomadic tourism in Bali.

Minister Sandiaga also said that Indonesia has the largest Vespa enthusiast community in ASEAN and the second largest in the world. He was also happy because Indonesia became the first country in Asia to host the Vespa World Days.

Minister Sandiaga advised the Vespa World Days participants to enjoy the beauty of Bali.

"Therefore, it must be an exciting experience to explore the beautiful Bali by riding a Vespa and gathering with Vespisties from all over the world to celebrate brotherhood and solidarity", said Sandiaga.

"To all scooter riders, I hope you have a great time in Bali, and please drive safely and safely", said Minister Sandiaga.
