Hot Netizens Comment When Professor Musni Umar Chirps 'Terrorism Created By The Western Regime For Political Interests

JAKARTA - An unexpected reaction emerged from the 'thumbs up' of netizens when the Chancellor of the Universitas Ibnu Chaldun, Musni Umar, chirped about terrorism on his Twitter account, @musniumar.

As seen on Sunday, May 29, Musni tweeted about SOEs, terrorism, and the opinion of the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Egypt, Ahmed El-Tayyeb.

Ahmed El-Tayyeb's opinion states that terrorism is a political phenomenon created by several Western political regimes and then attached to Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

This was conveyed by Ahmed El-Tayyeb at a meeting with a delegation from the UK's Royal College of Defense Studies. Al-Tayyeb said his institution had included the subjects of counterterrorism and counter-radicalism in its syllabus.

Well, in his tweet, Musni Umar asked netizens' opinions about Ahmed El-Tayyeb's opinion.

"The Minister of SOEs said there was no place for terrorism in SOEs. Meanwhile, said the Grand Imam of Al Azhar: Terrorism was created by the western regime for political purposes. What are the opinions of netizens?", Musni Umar tweeted.

This tweet was immediately grabbed by netizens with various striking comments. For example, the @Moranta**** account asked Musni about the conclusion of the tweet.

"So your conclusion is mu mus, because terrorists are created by the west, then SOEs can be filled with terrorists?? Your logic is still far, mus..!!", he chirped.

This is different from the @erwan**** account which asks professors to be more academic in the study of sociologists on terrorism.

"As a sociologist, prof. it is better to write about terrorism from a sociological point of view, not to ask netizens", he asserted.

"Whether terrorists need to be protected or fought, it all depends on the point of view of seeing it... if Mr. Professor Musni is part of terrorists, then terrorists need to be protected and try to twist the facts so that terrorists still exist", tweeted @nobo****
