Maluku Governor Inaugurates 4 Acting Regents And Mayors

AMBON - Maluku Governor Murad Ismail inaugurated four acting regents and mayors whose terms of office ended on 22 May 2022.

Four officials were sworn in, namely Acting Regent of West Seram (SBB) Andi Chandra As'aduddin, Djalaludin Salampessy as Acting Regent of Buru, Daniel Indey as Acting Regent of Tanimbar Islands Regency, and Bodewin Wattimena as Acting Mayor of Ambon City.

Inauguration of the acting regents and mayors by the Decree of the Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Number 131.81-1164 of 2022 to the Acting Regent of West Seram, SK Mendagri Number 131.81-1165 to the Acting Mayor of Ambon, SK Number 131.81-1165 to the Acting Regent of Buru, and SK Number 131.81-1167 to the Acting Regent of the Tanimbar Islands Regency.

As reported by Antara, Tuesday, May 24, the inauguration of the acting head of the district/city was carried out following the end of the tenure of the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Ambon for the 2017-2022 period, Richard Louhenapessy-Syarif Hadler.

The Regent and Deputy Regent of Western Seram for the 2017-2022 Period Yustinus Akerina, the Regent and Deputy Regent of Buru Island for the 2017-2022 Period Ramli Ibrahim Umasugi-Amostafa Besan, the Regent and Deputy Regent of the Tanimbar Islands for the 2017-2022 Period Fetrus Patlolon - Agustinus Utuwaly.

In addition to inaugurating the acting regents and mayors, there was also a handover of the Acting PKK Mobilizing Team in three regencies/cities by the Head of the Moluccas Province Empowerment and Family Welfare Team (TP PKK).

The agenda for the inauguration of officials is accompanied by Halalbihalal by the Maluku Provincial Government with the TNI (Indonesian Army), National Police, religious leaders, community leaders, and ASN.
