Indo Research Survey: Ganjar Wins In Simulation Of 7 Names, Prabowo Wins If 3 Candidates Follow The Presidential Election

The national survey institute Indo Reset releases the results of the presidential candidate electability survey

JAKARTA - The national survey institute Indo Reset released the results of a survey on the electability of presidential candidates in a discussion entitled Election 2024: Potential for Two Rounds of Presidential Election. As a result, the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, got the highest number of votes from a simulation of 18 names, 9 names to 7 names.

In the top three levels of popularity and preference for the highest figures, Prabowo Subianto, Anies Baswedan, and Sandiaga Uno control them.

"From the simulation of 7 names for the electability of presidential candidates, the Governor of Central Java emerged as the winner with a survey result of 27.4 percent. Followed by Gerindra Chair Prabowo Subianto with 25.5 percent and DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan with 21.0 percent", said Indo Research presenter Roki Arbi in an online survey release, Thursday, May 19.

Fourth, there is the Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil with electability of 5.4 percent, the fifth Ketum Democrat Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono with electability of 5.0 percent, the sixth Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno 4.8 percent, and the seven DPR Speakers Puan Maharani with electability of 1.3 percent.

Meanwhile, in the simulation of 3 presidential candidates, Indo Research tried to simulate 7 groups. In the first group, if the presidential election is followed by Anies, Ganjar, and Prabowo, then Ganjar comes out as the winner with 33.3 percent. Slightly followed by Prabowo with 32.4 percent, and Anies with 28.2 percent.

Second, if followed by Anies, Ganjar and Sandiaga Uno. Anies and Ganjar's battle will be very fierce. Anies only narrowly won with 37.3 percent, from Ganjar who got 37.6. Meanwhile, Sandiaga is far behind with 14.1 percent.

Third, Anies won again with a result of 39.8 percent, against Ganjar 37.8 percent, and Ridwan Kamil got 10.4 percent.

Fourth, Prabowo Subianto won with 41.8 percent against Anies 39.3 percent, and Puan Maharani lost only 6.8 percent.

Fifth, Prabowo won again at 39.0 percent against Anies at 36.7 percent and Ridwan Kamil at 14.3 percent.

In the sixth simulation, Prabowo again won with 42.1 percent, leaving Anies with 40.1 percent and Erick Tohir with 6.9 percent.

Finally, Prabowo Subianto narrowly won from Ganjar with 38.7 percent. While Ganjar got 38.2 percent, far from Ridwan Kamil's 13.0 percent.

"In the three simulations, the situation for the presidential election will be more competitive and it is difficult to predict who will win", said Arbi.

In the survey, Indo Research also found that the public considers the most important criteria to be possessed by the next president of Indonesia to be a person who is honest and free from corruption.

This survey uses a multi-stage random sampling method with a total of 1,096 samples of valid data to be analyzed. The interview process was conducted face-to-face using a structured questionnaire with a margin of error of +/- 2.96 percent at a 95 percent confidence level.
