Elon Musk's Casual Style In The Meeting With Jokowi, Only Wear T-shirts, Even Crossing His Feet

JAKARTA - President Joko Wododo (Jokowi) visited the CEO of Tesla and Space X, Elon Musk, after attending a series of special ASEAN-United States (US) summits.

The meeting took place at SpaceX Headquarters, in Boca Chica, USA, Saturday, May 14 local time. In their togetherness, Elon Musk's fashion style has received a lot of attention.

In the documentation uploaded to the official social media accounts of the head of state, Elon Musk and Jokowi laugh at each other. The atmosphere seemed fluid. Even the billionaire looks to be overlapping.

Elon Musk only wore a black t-shirt or shirt when he met Jokowi. The shirt worn by the man who was born in South Africa depicts an astronaut riding a rocket against the background of the earth.

"We are talking about technology and innovation," Jokowi wrote on his Twitter account, @jokowi, Sunday 15 May.

Elon Musk also showed the same style when he met the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan some time ago.

Luhut, who wore a navy blue suit, was greeted by Elon Musk, who wore a black shirt complete with long jeans. The two met at Tesla Headquarters in Texas, USA.

At that time, Luhut, together with the CEO and President Director of PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (BNBR) and Ambassador Rosan Roeslani, were wearing suits, greeted by Elon Musk dressed in a t-shirt.

Although dressed casually, Elon Musk remained serious and focused when talking with Luhut's group who were exploring Tesla's cooperation with Indonesia regarding investment in the supply and processing of nickel as a raw material for making electric vehicle battery cells.

Elon Musk also emphasized his seriousness when he met Jokowi. This was conveyed by Jokowi after the meeting.

"A follow-up to my order to talk to Elon about investment, about technology, about innovation, and now I'm here and meet directly with Elon to discuss future cooperation," Jokowi said in an official statement from the Presidential Secretariat, Sunday 15 May.
