JAKARTA - The ranks of the Central Lombok Police, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) stated that all members are ready to secure the Eid Topat celebration which is coupled with the Launching of the 459 Lantan Motor Cross Circuit on May 9, 2022.

"The total number of members involved in securing this Lebaran Topat is as many as 300 personnel," said Central Lombok Police Chief AKBP Hery Indra Cahyono at the ceremony for the deployment of security preparation troops at the Lantan Circuit, North Batukliang District, Central Lombok, Sunday.

The deployment of the troops in order to check the security readiness of the Ketupat Eid was led directly by the Deputy Regent of Central Lombok, Dr. HM Nursiah.

"In addition to members from the Resort Police, TNI personnel, the Sat Pol PP and the Central Lombok Transportation Service were also dispatched to assist in securing Eid Topat," he said, quoted from ANTARA, May 8.

He said, there are several important points that will be a concern in security later, namely the location of the event, the route or access to the location, and the crossers who will conduct the circuit test and the audience.

"Besides the location of the circuit and the event, the traffic lane is also an important target for security later, considering that the road access to the location is quite small," he said.

In addition, the Central Lombok Police Chief also said that in order for the smooth and orderly event to take place, solid cooperation between the Indonesian National Armed Forces and the National Police, the Regional Government, relevant agencies, and the community was needed.

"We hope for support from all walks of life to jointly support security on this ketupat Eid," he said.

The Lebaran Topat celebration activity in Central Lombok was centered in the Lantan Tourism Village, but security at the tourist destinations that tourists would visit on Lebaran Topat remained the attention of members in the Police Sector ranks, including the Lebaran security post.

"We urge the public to continue to apply health protocols by wearing masks," he said.
