JAKARTA - A group of robbers who acted in a minimarket in the Pagedangan area, Tangerang, was suspected of using firearms. In their action, they managed to steal IDR 70 million in cash.

"Cash IDR 30 million was taken from the cashier and then 40 million was taken from the safe which they were forced to open by Alfamart employees", said Head of Public Relations of Metro Jaya Police, Commissioner E. Zulpan to reporters, Wednesday, April 20.

Based on CCTV footage and minimarket employees who had become victims of hostage-taking, there were three perpetrators. Two of them used weapons suspected of being rifles.

Until now, the perpetrators are in pursuit. Their identities have been pocketed.
