Kremlin Responds To Britain Considered Aggravating Situation In Ukraine, Prime Minister Boris Johson And 2 Main Ministers Are Banned From Entering Russia

JAKARTA - Russia views Britain as a country that plays an important role in gathering global support to support Ukraine and impose economic and political sanctions on the Kremlin. Russia is finally not standing still.

The Kremlin has officially barred Prime Minister Boris Johnson and a number of other key ministers from entering Russia. What Britain has done so far is considered a "hostile" attitude, as quoted from the BBC, Saturday, April 16.

Moscow says the decision was made in retaliation for Britain's sanctions against it since it invaded Ukraine.

"Basically, the British leadership is deliberately exacerbating the situation around Ukraine, pumping the Kyiv regime with lethal weapons and coordinating similar efforts on the part of NATO," the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

In response to the sanctions, a spokesman for the UK government confirmed it and its international partners would remain united in condemning the Russian government's despicable actions in Ukraine. They will also continue to work on the Kremlin to stop the war.

"We remain steadfast in our support for Ukraine," a British spokesman said.
