Keeping Votes For The Next Election, Siti Zuhro Suggests Puan Maharani To Maintain Good Relations With Nahdliyin And PDIP

JAKARTA - The main expert researcher of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) Siti Zuhro advised Puan Maharani to maintain good relations between Nahdliyin residents and the PDI-P.

"The good relationship that has been established between PDIP and Nahdliyin needs to be maintained, to ensure that they still have their voices for the party winning this election," Siti said, quoted by Antara, Friday, April 15.

In addition to maintaining sustainability, Siti reminded of a bigger goal for women, namely the function as chairman of the DPR RI. "You can better calm the hearts of Muslims," he said.

Siti gave an example as the chairman of the DPR RI, Puan must show a strong attitude in siding with the people's voice.

"Show partiality to the voice of the people, both in narration and legislation," said Siti.

Siti said, Puan can also be critical of government policies that are not in favor of the people. He explained that the DPR as a legislature has three constructive oversight functions so that there are checks and balances.

The function of budgeting is to ensure that the state budget is in favor of development in the community. The function of legislation is to show whether or not the DPR accommodates the interests of the community.

"If there is a polemic in society from the policies issued by the government, the DPR can use its supervisory function constructively," said Siti.
