Purbalingga Ensures Preparedness Of Tourism Object Managers To Apply Health Protocol

PURWOKERTO - The Purbalingga Regency Government in Central Java Province ensures that tourist attraction managers in their area implement health protocols (prokes) to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 ahead of the 2022 Eid holiday.

"Tourism objects in Purbalingga from the beginning have made various preparations, both related to the readiness of health protocols and new rides," said Head of Tourism, Youth, Sports, and Tourism Office of Purbalingga Regency Gunanto Eko Saputro as quoted in a press release issued by the local government, received in Purwokerto, Wednesday 13 April.

Gunanto said that the agency had monitored the preparation of facilities and infrastructure to support the implementation of health protocols in a number of tourist objects.

"The monitoring results show that all preparations have gone well, and health protocols have been carried out according to the rules. In addition, tourist attractions also continue to preen to welcome tourists," he said, quoted by Antara.

"We appreciate that various innovations are also being carried out by tourism object managers. Hopefully, 2022 will be the revival of Purbalingga tourism," he added.

He is optimistic that the number of tourist visits to the Purbalingga tourist attraction will increase this year's Lebaran holiday.

"This momentum needs to be used to encourage the recovery of tourist attractions in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic," he said.

Perumda Owabong as the manager of a number of tourist attractions in Purbalingga has made various preparations to welcome tourists during the 2022 Eid holiday.

Acting Director of Perumda Owabong Eko Susilo said that in addition to preparing vehicles, the company also prepared facilities and infrastructure to support the implementation of health protocols.

"Our Bojongsari Water Tourism Object, Goa Lawa, and Sanggaluri Park have been temporarily closed since April 3, 2022, and will only reopen on April 24. As long as they are closed, they will be used for maintenance of existing rides," he said.
