687,090 Families In Lampung Receive BLT Cooking Oil Social Assistance

LAMPUNG - The government distributed direct cash assistance (BLT) for cooking oil to 687,090 families in Lampung Province today. Each of them received Rp. 300,000 for the period from April to June 2022.

"Today, the BLT cooking oil has been distributed to the beneficiary families," said Head of the Lampung Province Social Service Aswarodi in Bandarlampung, Tuesday, April 12, quoted from Antara.

He said that BLT cooking oil was given to families who were beneficiaries of the Family Hope Program and non-cash food assistance as well as street vendors who were registered in the integrated social welfare data.

According to him, the assistance can be taken directly by the beneficiary's family at the Post Office.

"For people who cannot pick up directly due to a number of obstacles, distribution can be done at the village hall or directly delivered by Post Office officers," he said.

The recipients of BLT cooking oil included 54,096 families in Bandarlampung City, 92,878 families in South Lampung Regency, 44,909 families in Pesawaran, 31,806 families in Pringsewu, 65,987 families in Tanggamus, 8,268 families in Metro City, and 90,004 families in Central Lampung Regency.

In addition, there were 82,857 families in East Lampung, 25,409 families in West Lampung, 63,804 families in North Lampung, 19,237 families in Mesuji, 17,113 families in Pesisir Barat, 27,786 families in Tulang Bawang, 18,914 families in Tulang Bawang Barat, and 44,022 families. in Waykanan.

Lampung Governor Arinal Djunaidi advised the beneficiary families to use BLT cooking oil to meet basic needs.

"The BLT assistance for cooking oil of Rp. 300 thousand is expected to be used properly, to buy basic needs, not to buy other things," he said.
