MEDAN - The Medan City Government, North Sumatra continues to control the rate of spread of COVID-19 by monitoring to the environmental level in this area.

Data from the Medan City Health Office stated that the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases had experienced a fairly high spike on Thursday (3/3), namely 10.391 cases.

"But 28 days later or to be precise on Thursday (31/3), the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases is only 299," said Bobby Nasution.

Even though there has been a decline in cases, Medan Mayor Bobby asked Dr. Pirngadi Regional Public Hospital (RSUD) to provide 80 rooms and 20 ICUs to anticipate case handling in the event of a spike.

The report from the Medan City COVID-19 Task Force, Sunday (10/4), stated that the total confirmed cases of COVID-19 were 72.846, or an increase of 11 new cases compared to the cases on Saturday (9/4).
